EDIT: I'm single player.|||With that set of gear, you should be fine. Be sure to use teleport to get your merc out of trouble. Things in Hell hit hard. You can also use Glacial Spike every now and then to freeze enemies, making things a bit safer.
In what way are you and your merc dying? What is the base item you made Insight in? What level is your character, your merc, and what are your stats/resists?|||if i were you i'd run hell countess looking for mal and ist, then make a CTA.|||Hmm, I found an ohm the other day and i should be able to do a CTA but I can't run countess. Most of the time she is cold/fire immune and lightning is her best counter. About the insight.... it's a stupid base and im looking for an eth tresher/CV and im going to make an obidiance. Oh and im dieing REALLY fast if something hits me. My merc is with a defiance aura. If i don't get hit tho, I wont die but that makes a problem in the really fast immunes. Thanks.|||Countess is hell is always cold/fire immune. That doesn't mean you can't run her, though. Just kill her minions, static her life down to half and let your merc kill her. I also recommend switching to either Holy Freeze or Might merc.|||Hmm why freeze or might?|||A sorc doesn't have much defense. So a Defiance aura won't do much for you. Besides, defense isn't that important for PvM anyway. Holy Freeze will slow monsters around you, which is good crowd control and keeps you safe. Might increases your merc's leech, keeping him alive longer, and he'll kill immunes faster.|||And where do you think its the best place to farm a good eth obediance base?

you get alot of good base weapons there.|||can you tell us how much life/mana you have? with your current gear setup you shouldnt be having any problems surviving in hell. maybe your stats are messed up?
