Blizz Sorc+Cold Immunes

I looked through a number of guides concerning monster immunities. If I am understanding all of this correctly, there is no way, even with stacked cold mastery+conviction aura, to break cold immunes in Hell? It's becoming an issue to MF in the more popular areas with numerous cold immunes that I can't touch with my pure blizz sorc |||Yes it's true, cold immunities cannot be broken by any means, regardless of how much you try. You should go for a dual element sorceress if you want to be capable of killing the cold immunes.|||Tele at them, static field until their life goes down to half, after that lock them with telekinesis for merc. It's still annoying with super uniques. :P|||Only popular area i wount touch with my pure cold sorc is the pits.

And i dont have a single RW on my merc so it doesnt have to be all that expensive either|||It really is no biggie, if you get a decent merc. An eth reapers, fort, andy - And your merc will be killing mobs in a couple of shots in 8 player cs games. Assuming you support him with static, of course.

In fact blizz sorcs are one of the fastest 8 player chaos runners, despite having no built in way to deal with immunes. That speaks for itself imo:
