will a fire facet give any bonus to enchant

title says it all i've got a +3 enchant ormus and want to know if a socket it with a fire facet if it will increase the damage thanks in advance|||Yep, but the +% damage just adds to fire mastery so the damage increase is minimal. If you give us more info on what the sorc is used for (melee/bow sorc or only enchants others) we can explain exactly how it will affect your damage.|||Thanks Hubb. I just use her to enchant others.

Skill Level is 51.

Duration is 1344 seconds.

Damage is 4552-5242.

Attack Bonus is 470%.

As you can she she is nice as is as but just wondering if I could eek out a little more. Thanks again.|||Level 50 enchant with maxed warmth gives 933-1076, so +5% from the facet will give you another 50 damage

np|||Thanks. Seems like a waste of a facet for such a small change in total damage. I'll keep in my back pocket for now.|||Remember that you don't need a perfect facet for this. -x/+5 facets are relatively inexpensive. They're what I used last ladder season for my enchantress.|||If there's a specific "main" character you regularly use this sorc to enchant, you'd be better suited giving the main a -5% facet. They'll benefit from the -EFR much more than they would from the +Fire Damage.|||Yeah I hope that is 3/15 fire enchant ormus because I was thinking you could use a sorc specifically for enchanting melee chars and nothing else. Here would be a good example of what I mean:

3 fire skills 10/xx circ

3 fire skills ammy

3/25/x eshcutas (kind of a waste but what the heck)

3 enchant/20 fire dmg/x ormus

spirit mon

arach

skill rings (soj or bk dont matter)

mages

random s torch and anni

9 fire gcs

Now there we have enchant at maximum performance |||I think a +2 Arkaines with a +5 Facet would actually give better damage than a 3 enchant Ormus. Ignoring all +% fire...

+28 all skills, +3 Enchant: 5076 max Enchant damage

+30 all skills: 5092 max Enchant damage

though maybe the 15% difference in +Fire Damage makes up for it...? Though if it doesnt, it makes the original argument moot since you wouldn't be using the enchant ormus that started it |||Don't forget BC and skill shrine.
