Gear for a pure Bliz sorc in Hell?

Hi, so, I'm about to start Hell with my Sorceress and I wanted to get some thoughts about my current set-up.

16 Ice Bolt

20 Ice Blast

20 Glacial Spike

20 Blizzard

1 Frozen Armor

1 Warmth

1 Static Field

1 Telekinesis

1 Teleport

Helm: Lore

Armor: Skin of the Vipermagi w/ Perfect Topaz

Shield: Rhyme

Weapon: Spectral Shard

Amulet: Rare with +18 Resist All

Ring 1: Raven Frost

Ring 2: Manald Heal

Belt: Tal Rasha's Fine Spun Cloth

Gloves: Frostburn

Boots: Rare with FRW/Resists/MF

My Mercenary is Act II Holy Freeze with Stealskull, Spire of Honor (High Damage - I don't have any other good polearm yet) and Crow Caw (IAS/FHR). Pretty bad, I know :P Should I run NM Andy/Meph some more or will I be able to handle Hell long enough to find a good Lv. 85 Area to do some MF-ing?

Also, should I respec and max Cold Mastery before Ice Bolt?|||It is not that hard to get a insight for you merc, (use the cube recipie to put holes on the polearms, dont waste the quest).



Occy + Shako will make a big difference for you for dmg and resists.



And it is time to start looking for a 4os monarch to get yourself a spirit.|||You haven't got any points in cold mastery? D: Respec ASAP and max it. You should have had CM at at least -100% before even starting with the 2nd synergy

Make Spirit in a Crystal/Broad/Long Sword and Spirit Monarch for yourself, plus Insight in an elite or exceptional polearm for your merc.|||I still haven't found the bases for Insight/Spirit, let alone socketed ones... XD Once my week probation is over I'll trade for some, hopefully.|||You are playing in Ladder, correct? If not then you cannot make spirit or insight.



Also, Hell countess for the runes. There are also quite a few armor/weapon stands on the way to her that you'll want to hit for the base items. I suggest hell countess because of the item bases you want (monarch, ethereal elite poleaxe non eth works too though)|||Quote:

I've got a a couple Spirits and I can give you a Spirit Wep (2 made, and some given O_o)
