enchantress shield help

I started an ench girl that I wanted to make unique item wise.

so I made her HoJ.

and it kicks ***!

then I wanted extra edge over FI mobs too, and decided to give her Medusa Gaze. ofc I realised that HoJs Blind Target overrides LR only after I spent 175 hard points into STR :P

so she's looking for respec big time, but I don't know what shield to give to her.

should I make some Sanctuary (and if so, in what base shield), or to go for StormShield, or Ward, or Mosers, or maybe something else?

it makes me damn mad that I made such a stupid mistake.

anyway, rest of gear will be:

Orphan set gloves/belt

Kiras

Treachery (this could also change, and prolly will to Glad Bane once she gets lvl)

Nat boots,

Angelic amu/ring

BKB ring

at this point I can squeeze lvl 37 prebuff enchant, which I find more than enough for questing.

thanx in advance for any suggestions.|||Well, I'm guessing it may be out of your price range but Dream helm/shield would be awesome if you max lightning mastery. Otherwise any of the other choices would probably be fine, I would just look to best fill any gaps in your other equipment like resists/FHR/life/damage reduction.|||i forgot to mention, i am singleplayer vanila, no nice RWs for me :||||Sorc FBR

Sanctuary (Troll Nest) has great res and some FHR but blocks a bit slow while SS has 35% DR and can get to the 5 frame BP, but doesn't have much in the way of useful resists. Upped Moser's (Sheal/Diamond) is sort-of in between and gets my vote, although SS is nice as well. Since you don't have Zeal I think fast blocking is a must.|||Moser's is a great shield, Visceratuant is also great, but with way less resists. Either one is worth upgrading, as it will greatly reduce the required dex for good blocking. It is also worth noting that you still want a high amount of +skills on your attacking set up and not just on your switch, because of the way that the Fire mastery is applied to your hits.|||if u plan or are using ES with ur sorc, u�d want a shield with integer dr and mdr. that would be gereke�s sanctuary. has also acceptable block, but i�d refrain from upping it.

combined with gladiators bane and string of ears u should take very few dmg from monsters|||I got mossers with 2x pDiamonds.

it works just fine, since I equiped it I had no near death experiences yet.

but since I still haven't respeced I will experiment a bit more with other shields too to see which one suits me the best.
