[:1]I've been playing with a Chain Lightning/Frozen Orb build for a while but I'm thinking about switching out Orb for Blizzard, just looking for some input before I make the switch. As it is now at level 78 the build is:
20 Chain Lightning
10 Lightning Mastery
20 Lightning
1 Teleport
20 Frozen Orb
2 Cold Mastery (aiming for 10)
or something like that. I was thinking that if I just swap out the 20 points in FO for Blizzard it would work out alright. I'd still be doing around 1400 dmg (please correct if I'm wrong) with all synergies and -100 Cold resists from mastery, assuming I'm at +7 to skills from items.
Thoughts?|||A level 27 Blizzard with no extra investment in synergies does about 1100 damage. Blizzard needs at least one maxed synergy in order to be able to compete with FO.
