sorc using infin

i have recently gotten a little bored of the standard builds and have been wanting to tweak them a little... so i thought i would make a sorc that actually holds infin (small tweak i know) and have ran into some problems...

This is a PVM build using the skill charged bolt

items will be griffs, infin, ormus, magefists, spider, soj, 10 fcr ring, 3 lite 10 fcr ammy, and tri res boots... along with some lite gcs, torch and anni

first off.... should i go full vit or full energy?

full vit would give me more survivablility IF i happen to tele into a group of mana burn monsters. vit also gives me some skills to put into frost armor or something else (recommend something if you want)

full energy would require me to put remaining skills in telekinesis and energy shield. this will give my char more survivability when my mana is not threatened. however after maxing TK i will only have a few points to put into energy shield (im planning to level to about 87 or so) and my shield would only sorb 83% at that level (i do not wnat to prebuff other than cta).

another thing that came up is what merc?

either way i was sort of thinking a prayer act 2 merc using insight, andys helm and eth fort.... this would help me even more if i was full energy but i just want the periodic life boost...

This is okay, you can make up some life with charms and stuff. 1k life after battle orders is fine, and you can hit that without any points in vit.

Yeah if you're wielding infinity yourself insight merc is the obvious choice. Either prayer or holy freeze. I'd be tempted to go holy freeze myself, that is going to help survivability more than prayer, the regen from double-popped prayer with insight is very nice, but it is never going to save you from a fanatic manaburn pack. Holy freeze just might.|||okay... so i ended up going ES... i also bit the bullet and got a 9es staff to prebuff... prebuff (just with the staff) isnt so bad sense ES lasts so long.... so far i have died twice... once by carelessness and another by blind tele into mana burn >.< oh well....

i also ended up getting the HF merc over the prayer merc
