Hey guys, do you think this sorc would fork for hell countess runs?
20 Nova
20 LM
20 Telekinesis
10 ES (+memory)
All that paired with maxblock / pure energy.
I'm just curious what you guys think, but I'm currently thinking about to test this out today, cause for me this looks like a good (theoreticly ^^) build having defense and ofense.
cheers|||i use one currently with the same basic principles you mention and she works fine. i went with vit over energy though. basically i based her off of socialism's guide but subbed in nova for orb. i made one other change in regard to the build, i use a merc with insight instead of kelpie snare since i dont have meph at the end of the run i have a bunch of (mostly) wimpy act one monsters.|||i'd go lightning rather than nova. more damage and you can actually hurt stuff out of melee range.|||Y i know that with lightning, it's just that lightning uses alot more points then simply nova and nova has a lower fcr breakpoint (nova is the same as all other spells)|||Nova has a lot of minimum damage and on /players 1 you can chain stun them (hit recovery). Thats what i do with countess and i don't even need a shield. The problem is the archers. I try to use a merc as a meat shield, kill raven and then take runes esc + save and exit. Works like a charm if you practice a bit.|||archers can just be ignored on a maxblock sorc, unless its some kind of elite pack with sick mods.|||Quote:

for purely countess farming, the only thing down there that's ranged is those archers, and they always spawn light immune.
either way there's no need to worry with odd builds for the countess, she's easy on hell with a standard light sorc, since even without infinity you will kill everything but the archers in 2 or 3 chain lightning casts (countess included).
all you need is spirit/insight for skills and regen, both of which are cheap rune wise.
