Need help with a Fire/Elec Melee Sorc

I was wanting to make a melee Sorc that was capable of dealing good Fire, Lightning and Physical damage, without using any skills that deal direct damage.

For equipment I was thinking both Dreams, Last Wish, and...?

For Skills Max FM, LM, Warmth, Enchant, and...?

For merc, I dunno. I really don't like using the act 2 mercs at all, they just seem so boring to me, even though they are often considered the best. I was wanting to use an act 5 barb, but don't know what to give him for equipment. Either that, or a Rogue with Ice or Faith for a bow.

Thoughts? Suggestions?|||Why Last Wish? If you want physical damage, Grief would be a better option. Although a Passion RW and using Zeal as you attack will probably give you more dps.

For merc, I can't see any reason to not use an Act 2 with Infinity for a build like this. Other than that, check the guide thread. There are a few melee-based sorc builds in the sticky that may be useful to you.
