key running build?

[:1]what would be the best build for key running? i need to fuel my smiter

im thinking a lightning build but i may be wrong? possibly a hybrid?

gear suggestions along with skill allocation would be nice aswell as merc options.

Tal's sorcies are pretty sturdy so key running could be easy for them especiall tessy and summoner. Spell combo could be any you wanted but meterob or fireballorb might be easiest. Best shield would be either spirit monarch for the skills but over all best just for key running probably a mosers or whitsans guard to make it easier to max blocking rate (I wouldnt even try to go for max black with a monarch) Just get her a nature's peace if you want her running nilly as well.

If merc has a good insight and just gear like smoke and hat with leech then he should be ok.

Kaytie|||honestly i think a light sorc would be just fine. none of the key holders are immune to lighting, which means you don't have to worry about them being immune to your spells. also i've found that a light sorc will kill faster than any other sorc out the, which is key if your doing runs like this. depending on your wealth you can equip her with the recommend high end gear, or simply use a full tal's set.

the problem with meteorb sorc for key running is you have the countess, that is immune to both of your skill trees. even though she is easy for a merc to kill it will slow down your time. however, i think she is best for doing more than just key runs, I.E meph and possible baal runs in the game as well.|||Quote:

Nihlathak has various resists, he sometimes spawns with Lightning immunity. He has Lightning Enchanted mod also in this setup.

Light sorc is great btw for key running. She needs at least 63 fcr (105 would be optimal), block, fhr and resists for the job. Dual Spirit always comes handy.|||I have light/orb keyhunter and she works pretty well.|||Quote:

Oh no you are not wrong at all. I got a light sorc that does key runs no problem. Just be defensive doing d key runs.|||Since you're gonna do all keys (yes?) I would assume that 200% fcr would be the better choise since you're gonna spend most of your time teleporting looking for stairs.

This build need not be expensive. In 1 player games wizardspike setups will get the job done easily. A few seasons ago I started out as a 200% light soso. She did a good job.

200% is especially good for noobs like me since I almost always have to reveal the entire Arcane Sanctuary to find the dude in a blue dress.|||Quote:

i honestly didn't know he spawnd random immunities as he's always immune to cold with me
