[:1]I have a lvl 87 light sorc for nl. But I really haven't played to much ladder. I was wondering, what character should I make?|||It really depends on your wealth and your personal taste really.|||Well let's say your new to the game. Kinda. To ladder at least. You have nothing. I'm planning on getting a rush and such. And I love sorcs and pallys. But I'm looking for a hell pvm that can wear full tals for mf but can still get the job done you know?|||I play SP only these days, so I may be a bit off here. But I would think that if you are getting rushed it would make this all the more true. If you are willing to grind a few targets it's hard to beat a blizz sorc for MF, if you don't have much gear. If you can get Tal's full set there is not too much reason to run Meph- you are rich enough to not need to. But AT is a very safe lvl 85 area for a blizz sorc, and you can also run Trav if you want though it's not the best build for that (it is probably close to optimal for AT.)
I do wonder though- if you can get full Tal's easily, why MF at all? Just for the few _really_ rare items?|||Lol I'm a noob so idk what at is. And Idk maybe I could just make a pvm character and run chaos runs for runes or something..|||Quote:

AT means Ancient Tunnels. It is a lvl 85 area in Act II. It has fairly dense boss packs and no natural cold immunes (cold immune bosses are still possible.) I find it far less dangerous than the Pit.
The upshot is that if you are trying to MF for TC87 items using a blizz sorc to grind AT is a reasonable strategy.|||Well what would you do?|||And what's tc 87 items?|||Quote:

Seriously? The tal set is not engame gear for the sorc.
Its a great starter gear when you get the levels for it. And it only costs a ist on ladder. A ist you can easily trade for with perfect gems that you collect while you are leveling the levels required to wear the tal set.

For running chaos i will recomend the blizzballer build. For running keys or just general area mfing i would recommed a lighting/cold build. But thats me and how i like to play the game.
For the blizzballer build i recommed to get around 3k average fireball dmg. For solo killing that is enouch. After that you focus on getting 105 cast rate.
Currently i play a nova/blizzard build for keys, trav, cs and general play and love it. However you need alot of +skills aka damage to be able to put mobs into hit recovery.|||If you can get Tal's easily I would recommend a meteorb soso. I played those two ladders and it was really fun. It is not the most powerful build but it gets the job done easily.
